Webinar | The Future of Everything: The future role of business

Written by Dr Rosina Watson | 30/05/22 10:00
In a world facing war, pandemic, and a narrowing window within which to avoid the worst impacts of climate change, can businesses continue to frame their existence in purely financial terms?

Employers and customers are seeking companies that demonstrate a purpose beyond profit: demands from investors for more rigorous non-financial reporting, particularly climate risk, are mounting; shortages of energy and raw materials and supply chain disruptions are already a reality.

Dr Rosina Watson, Head of the Sustainability Group and Senior Lecturer in Sustainability at Cranfield, will argue that business can and must play a role in solving these problems for people and the planet to thrive, and reflect on the subsequent implications for leaders.

This webinar is part of Cranfield School of Management’s “Future of Everything” series, and is offered in partnership with the Sustainability Group at Cranfield University.
